Welcome back! I know, I know… I haven’t updated for over a week. My firewall blew up and I had to fix it and re-program it before I could get any internet to work. This resulted in my presence not gracing the web, until yesterday. That’s why I’ve spent a very, very long time hand-compiling this large list of domain tld’s, their meanings, their registrars, as well as their prices. If only .eu did something similar, then all the decent domains wouldn’t have been bought by sqautters.

That’d be nice, Andy, then .eu would be a useful extension.

Julian, you’ve made an error with the .TH domain. You haven’t converted it! Its still in Baht, the currency of Taiwan. It works out at about $75 not $2505.

Andy’s idea is still true though. If domains cost a lot there would be no ’squatters’ as he called them.

You also forgot about .co.ck which is $150 for 2 years. Available from http://www.oyster.net.ck

Can you please help? I noticed you use the name Julek, and also Julian. Are the names interchangeable? My dad was born in Poznan, 1934, I have little information about his childhood since he was always moving around during WWII. I did notice on the back of one photo it said “Julek”. Is this the polish variant of Julian? Or is this a pet name? Oh, and by the way, there are hundreds of TLDs I missed, as I said this is all hand compiled so it did take me a while just to compile all of these for you. But I may do the rest some other time.
