Welcome back! I know, I know… I haven’t updated for over a week. My firewall blew up and I had to fix it and re-program it before I could get any internet to work. This resulted in my presence not gracing the web, until yesterday. That’s why I’ve spent a very, very long time hand-compiling this large list of domain tld’s, their meanings, their registrars, as well as their prices. This is kind of a … a bribe, or incentive, for you all. Enjoy!

Lol
I love the price for Thailand.
http://www.google.th - I’m surprised they don’t have it, I mean, $2,505, that’s pocket change.
Wow, what justifies the price of $2,505 for a domain? Whats so special about it… Do they just want to be exclusive?
I’m not sure, but imagine running a large community on it and being billed for $2,505 at the end of the year just to keep the domain.
Wow, thanks for a great post! I bet that actual people or business’ in Thailand get a discount or something…right?
Zack
I can imagine there being a lot of tax on .th
If only .eu did something similar, then all the decent domains wouldn’t have been bought by sqautters.
That’d be nice, Andy, then .eu would be a useful extension.
Julian, you’ve made an error with the .TH domain. You haven’t converted it! Its still in Baht, the currency of Taiwan. It works out at about $75 not $2505.
Andy’s idea is still true though. If domains cost a lot there would be no ’squatters’ as he called them.
You also forgot about .co.ck which is $150 for 2 years. Available from http://www.oyster.net.ck
Oh think of the possibilities!
ilovethe
wewantsome
bighairy
I’ll leave the rest up to you.
Err, from the Thai NIC website, the .th domain is 2505 Baht/2yr, which is basically US$76/2yr.
2505 Thai baht = 73.5427957 U.S. dollars
Are you sure Thailand’s isn’t in baht?
2,505 baht = $76US
The cost of a Thai domain is in Baht, not US$. 2505 Baht is $75USD.
One that always gets a giggle out of me: Cook Islands (.co.ck). It costs $150 for two years for non-Cook Islanders though. And yes, there is a google.co.ck.
Well, that 2,505 is not given in dollar, but in the Thailand Baht currency, which translates to 76.0036 USD. This is not much.
Ummm you lot do realize that other countries use currencies different to US Dollars yeah?
2,505 Thai baht = 73.54 US dollars
Nice list but your forgot .ie for Ireland.
[…] This list is so useful. Okay, not really, but it is cool to have most all the tld’s laid out in such a manner…check out .th… [via] […]
http://www.isoc.org.il/domain_heb/
.il = israel = 54$ for 2 years
Just to clarify, Thailand is not $2,500+, but 2,500 baht, which is about $73.50:
http://www.google.com/search?q=2%2C505+baht
That’s 2505 baht. Not dollars. And what is the objective of this list? They’re certainly not the lower priced, or even better service providers.
100% lame.
Domain
Registration : .co.th, .net.th, .or.th, .in.th, .ac.th, .go.th
: 2,505 Baht/domain/2yrs.
That should come out to about $72….
[…] Prices of top-level domains (TLD) around the world. They say that a domain in the Thailand TLD costs $2,505 but I have a feeling that the prices are in Bahts rather than USD. [via] […]
.nz for New Zealand is missing too.
It’s Romania and not romainia.
Mihai
[…] top-level domain registrants and prices (tags: list webdev tld internet domains topleveldomains) […]
Thailand’s rate is in Thai baht. That’s about $75US.
How about my favorite:
.hm (Heard & McDonald Island) $35
(www.registry.hm)
2,505 Thai baht = 73.5427957 U.S. dollars, that sounds more like it should…………..
Can you please help? I noticed you use the name Julek, and also Julian. Are the names interchangeable? My dad was born in Poznan, 1934, I have little information about his childhood since he was always moving around during WWII. I did notice on the back of one photo it said “Julek”. Is this the polish variant of Julian? Or is this a pet name? Im trying to pull information from Polish archives such as my dads birth certificate and so far anything I ask for with “Julian” shows up empty. Should I use Julek instead? Thanks for any help!
There is a promotion happening right now on .cn domain names at certain resellers. Domains are going for RMB 1, or about twelve cents US.
You forgot .pk which is the cctld for Pakistan. It costs around $33 or Rs. 2000 for 2 years. Anyone can purchase one at www.pknic.net.pk
py paraguay 50USD
Correction. It does not cost $2,505 US Dollars to get a .th domain. It cost 2505 Baht (Thai Currency) and I believe it’s good for 2 years. 2,505 Baht = $78.24
.il is for Israeli websites, and it’s about 17$ a year (but you can only purchase a two-year deal).
.th is about $50
there must’ve been some error in the ratio math.
but great list anyway =)
.ch / Switzerland has been changed from CHF 35 to CHF 27 (about US$22)
Thailand is about US$78 (Thai Baht 2505)
Are all prices given here in local currency? That would make them kind of impossible to compare
That Thai price is wrong. The price is 2505 in bahts, the Thai currency, which is roughly equivalent to $78 USD
the price for .is (iceland) is actually 185$, not 12$, but this is really an awesome list
Thailand’s domain fee is 2505 baht, not $2505. 2505 baht is equivalent to US$78.
Thanks for all the comments guys, I believe I’m aware now that .th is $78 USD.
Oh, and by the way, there are hundreds of TLDs I missed, as I said this is all hand compiled so it did take me a while just to compile all of these for you. But I may do the rest some other time.
Comment on, add on too if you have some
Currently there is a registration/administration fee of Rp. 150.000,- (plus 10% tax) to register a domain (co.id, or.id, ac.id, and net.id)
more info on http://idnic.webindonesia.com/domreg.html
One US dollar is Rp.9200
Hi, Ben Fairless,
Yes, you’re right.
However, there is a typo: Baht is the currency of Thailand, not Taiwan.

You got a price for .si - Slovenia completely wrong. Maybe you have old info…
The price is €19 which is currently around $25.
