This update is going to be shorter than the usual, letting you guys know what’s up.

Please.com
This is an interesting one. I’ve always read Jon’s blog day-to-day, and his most recent post was about domain names. Find yourself a domain you want, find the owner via whois, and try to get a deal going. So, for kicks, I decided to try this one out. I’ve always wanted the domain name Please.com so I went for it. I e-mailed the owner and successfully exchanged a few e-mails before being given his phone number.

I gave him a call. It lasted about twenty minutes, we were just discussion the domain and some potential plans. Its one heck of a domain name, comes with a trademark to the name as well. Guess his asking price? I was expecting around mid $xxx, xxx after talking to some people, turns out he wanted $1-2 MILLION for it. I guess I can’t argue, like I said, its a stunning domain. Registered 11 years ago, the domain as well as the trademark. I may just put the call up on Fruda, since I did record it.

Design Work - Availability =]
I just finished on all and any client work I had to catch up on, so I’m accepting new jobs. If you’re interested in getting a design from me, or possibly not a design (I can provide anything, from a fully functional coded and designed website like YouTube.com or simply a three page template.) then please get in touch with me! You could either e-mail me at jtargo [at] gmail [dot] com or leave me a comment with your contact information.
Note: I accept contract work as well.

Tam Denholm
Otherwise known as Dread. He’s got a blog over at DreadBlog.com and updates very frequently with interesting topics. Its almost like fruda, but more on the programmer-ish side. He’s also equipped for life with an original Scottish accent, so podcasts and video updates are always entertaining.

So, like I said, this is a short one - BUT! Do expect something to make up for it soon. I will be writing some tutorials, or providing something useful, at least, shortly!

Ciao!
